Lefties and Dems, which are your favoured rightish wing blogs? Which do you read for erudition and which to enjoy the moonbats?

May I recommend Obsidian Wings? They’re not entirely right-wing: they have contributors from both ends of the spectrum. But I find all of their posts to be interesting and well thought-out. (No moonbats on either side, in other words.)
Though I wouldn’t class myself as a leftie, I am definitely a leftie as far as this board is concerned. I read Andrew Sullivan because I found him in the Sunday Times. He’s spot on sometimes, and sometimes full of shit, IMO.
On the left wing, I mostly enjoy Max Sawicky’s blog and still return there but his economics pieces leave me behind - because of my ignorance and his erudition.
I find myself liking both Daily Kos and Free Republic for their content but disliking them for the style.
I can’t really classify any of these politically, as I have been recently introduced to most of them. However, both of them are very interesting:

This guy is in Iraq. Fantastic photos and very good writing.

Aussie fellow with his ear to the political ground. Lots of links to other blogs here.
Enjoy.
http://www.blogsforbush.com is a good starting point for finding lots of different conservative-leaning blogs.
Instapundit is one of the biggest. He basically just links to other blogs that interest him, plus making short comments on them, but he tends to have a good ear for what’s going on.
Nothing beats FreeRepublic.com – they’re all loonies there, and they simply think they’re sensible.
Democratic Underground is almost a mirror analog, except (a) they stop for sanity checks from time to time, and (b) the weekly “Top Ten Conservative Idiots” list is a jewel.
Though I never saw the appeal of Instapundit myself; I can’t see the point in taking the opinion of someone who thinks wearing racist T-shirts to collegate board meetings is a good idea…
I must confess to being disappointed that so few dopers read rightish-wing blogs - how can you defend a position without knowing yout opponents? But it’s more likely that most dopers didn’t even see the thread.
