Legacy mode?

We’ll eventually get used to the new vBulletin layout, just like we got used to the ugly stock default colors of the old vBulletin version tht the SDMB had long ago.

I just found out, though, about what is called “legacy mode.” Legacy mode has the old postbit layout, with the name and post count to the left of the message. You can edit the new postbit template, and put the location back in.

Oh … and this page has resizeable tables.

Me want resizeable tables! Me want postbit template with location! Me want legacy mode!

That’s JUST what the board needs. All the benefits of the new stuff, and all the good stuff that we’ve recently lost. Sweeet.

Naturally the techs efforts are concentrated on making the site work at present but hopefully in the near future.

Here’s a vB 3.0 RC 2 site in legacy mode. (I was banned from there a few years ago, but I still think it’s a well-managed site. Long story; I posted a thread on it a while back. But I digress.)

Here’s a legacy mode thread. Not perfect, but still not bad.
