He molested gay children?
I don’t think a child rapist is really reformed until he has had a long drop with a short rope. I see no problem with letting those who live around him know what he did. I didn’t even think he’d be allowed to live that close to a school.

He was described as a “convicted child sex offender”, not a child rapist-we don’t know what it is he was convicted of. Still feeling lynchy?
He has been convicted of “Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse of a Minor” and “Violating Registering as a Convicted Sex Offender”. The victim was 17 years old, the convicted was 54 years old and in a position of trust. The “Sexual Predator” as termed by the state was 61 years old when found out as not being registered as a convicted sex offender.
They should be sent to penal colonies.
In other words, had the victim been a few months older it would have been completely skeevy but legal… unless you’re talking about a high school teacher banging a senior or something of the sort. So he’s an ephebophile rather than a pedophile. Still not good but something most people don’t consider quite as vile as a baby rapist. Which might be why he got probation instead of pound-you-in-the-ass prison and is allowed to live near a school, the authorities are looking at this as someone who diddled a near-adult and abused “trust” rather than someone molesting infants. You’re free to disagree with that assessment, of course, and maybe you regard an older man having sex with a 17 year old on the same level as someone raping a toddler. Do you?
If you’re interested in preventing a future tragedy you’d do better by distributing your flyers to the local teenagers.
Otherwise, it still sounds to me like you’ve taken it upon yourself to apply more punishment than the state has and you’re hoping that by distributing the flyers something bad will happen to this guy. Because he mooched money off you? Well, hell, he’s a middle-aged convicted sex offender who probably can’t hold down a job I expect he tries to mooch money off everyone he knows.
Translation: he was a teacher who had consensual sex with a 17 year old student. Since the age of consent in Illinois is 17 I’m assuming that like in my state the AoC for student/teacher is 18.
You obviously weren’t that concerned with his crime as you knowingly chose to live with him for five months. The only reason it’s a problem for you *now *is that you didn’t like him as a landlord.
