Lego Lord of the Rings figures coming this summer

Don’t we have a problem of scale, here? Lego figures are already pretty tiny. A Lego hobbit should look like this.

Plus, how can they have a ring? They don’t even have fingers.

I presume they’re going by the film, rather than the book- which gives Pippin as being the one who insists on second breakfast, the one who eats all the lembas, and generally the one eating most. It’s a little feeble though.

Most of the other answers are much better… I vote we write and complain.

Good call, she’s the only one who demonstrates in in both The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings.

Methinks you are the one with the problem of scale. o.o Anyway, LEGO has already got dwarves more or less right, so it’s not exactly a big step down.

It’s more like “Lord of the Bracers” really.

Hello, ideas for Number Two Nephew’s birthday gifts!

When I saw the picture for the Weathertop set on the Lego site, I thought that there were three hobbits… then realized that one of them had a beard and was supposed to be Aragorn.

I’d gone to the Lego site to get a gift card for my nephew, but once I saw these, I thought they were adorable. In addition to nephew’s gift, I wound up getting Sam fighting Shelob for myself.
