Still waiting for that non-anecdotal cite, lekatt.
None would exist for you.
I wouldn’t expect an apology, but a retraction of the claim is in order, don’t you think?
I seriously doubt any exist… period. NDE belongs with UFO’s and ghosts… things that do not exist.
So if I’m old and senile when I die, will I continue to live on, in this spirit world, being senile? Or will my mind revert back to some younger age? If so, what age would that be?
Or perhaps my mind would continue its slide into senility so I’ll spend eternity like a late-term Alzheimer’s victim?
What if I had a brain injury that changed my personality? Would I continue in the spirit world with that changed personality?
I need to know!
You know that’s not true Lekatt. You just refuse to accept that your standards of evidence are, at least regarding this subject, nearly nonexistent while the rest of us require real data, not just stories on par with urban legends.
You will leave your body as you entered it, in perfect condition. The things you list above can never touch the real you. The eternal “I” is safe from all physical things.
I am amazed that you can read my mind, know all my thoughts, and answer all questions. You must be truly psychic, but you don’t believe in those things, sorry.
Enough with the snarky non-answers, lekatt. Can you back up this factual claim:
with a non-anecdotal cite?
Yes, or no?
How did I enter it? At the point I was born? At that time I wasn’t able to speak or understand speech, nor did I know basic principles of math, logic, etc.
Or did I “enter” my body at the point of conception, when it was just a fertilized embryo? Or maybe “I” entered my body at the end of the first trimester?
Which one of these points in time counts as the real me?
Yes, I will. So will everybody. Including you. At some point in the future, your consciousness will end. Awareness, perception, thought, all will cease; the only thing left will be your lifeless body, other people’s memories of you, and any physical records that might have been made. Within a short period of time, the flesh of your lifeless body will decompose. It will take longer for your bones to disintegrate, but eventually they will as well. Similarly, as other people die, direct memories of you will evaporate, leaving only secondhand recollection. Over time, that too will fade, leaving only physical records: writings, photographs, motion pictures and video, sound records, and the like. And in the long run, when the sun swallows the earth, even those recordings, should they manage to survive over the intervening billions of years, will be destroyed. In the long run, there will be absolutely nothing left of you.
You’re going to die, LeRoy, same as I am. It’s very sad that you can’t accept it.
I am told that is your choice, but most enter just before birth. However, there are those that enter shortly after conception.
I have already been there, so have millions of others, I am not guessing, I know. But if you wish to believe in death, I will not stop you from doing so.
Something I have trouble understanding, we have solid evidence of life after death, but some reject it, why? I love my life, how do you feel about yours?
Not psychic, just observant. If you’ve read any of the responses in any of these threads then you should know that the rest of us require more stringent claims than you repeatedly offer as proof. Yet you refuse to offer anything stronger.
What does one have to do with the other? First, no we don’t and second, yes some do. Third, so do I, but regardless of …no, because it will end one day. Life is a precious thing and we should make the most of it while we have it, because one day it’ll run out.
A long time ago, I told you that whenever you claim to have had an NDE, I would be right there to inform the populace that what you actually had, according to your own written testimony, was a bad dream about death followed by a self-diagnosis(not backed up by any medical personnel) of a possible heart attack.
I have not forgotten my pledge. By any definition of the term known to man, you did not have an NDE.
I should have added this link to my post for you to look over.
I told you it is ok to believe what you will. There are billions of people who don’t believe as you do and I am one of them. Not necessary to attempt to convince me. After all we shall all know the answer someday.
Another surprise, one who was miles away when the event happened knows all. Harass if you must, take all the time you need.
More anecdotes. Do you know what a non-anecdotal cite is?
