Being reported now.
Much beloved part of my life. So glad he lived long and prospered. Thanks, Mr. Nimoy.
Remember
Goddamn.
RIP, Mr Nimoy.
What a career he had. Spock is surely one of the most iconic characters of my lifetime.
+1.
Of my friend, I can only say this: of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most… human.
damn…
“Do not grieve, Admiral … the needs of the many outweigh…”
“The needs of the few…”
“Or the one…”
He redeemed the franchise with Star Trek IV, too. A great movie and the best directed one except for II.
He was also great on Fringe.
beamed up to the final frontier.
The Bridge up there is starting to take shape.
“My work here is done.”
“But you didn’t do anything!”
“Didn’t I?” (beams up)
Nooooooooooooo!
He hadn’t been looking very well in recent footage I’ve seen of him. Yes, he was 83; but I’m still sad to see he’s dead.
Live long, and prosper.

Never a big fan of Trek, but you’d have to be an idiot to not realize the massive contribution he had to society.
IIRC he also was a wonderful person to interact with and realized his place in the nerd world, embraced it, and as a result embraced THEM.
I’m sad, that’s all. I first saw him on Star Trek, but have thoroughly enjoyed his career from a one-off role on Dragnet in the 1950’s all the way up through Fringe and Star Trek: Into Darkness
He lived long, and prospered.
Oh man, that’s sad!
I just head this. Sad, sad news. But he made it to 83 and lived a good life.
Very sad news. He was always my favorite part of Star Trek, from the time I discovered it in the late '70s.
RIP, Mr. Nimoy.
