That’s nice of you to say. Most people think that I talk to my mom about a little too MUCH… But I say it keeps her young–she’s 72, but you’re never too old to learn the definition of “fisting”…
There’s a local strip club that used to feature one of their dancers, “Lacy”, as the star in their print and radio ads. A co-worker of mine’s girlfriend was a dancer at the same club. My co-worker told me that Lacy was a lesbian and had attempted to seduce his girlfriend, who wasn’t interested. So Lacy approached my co-worker and offered to have a threesome if he’d convince his girlfriend to go along with the idea.
I think it’s probably easier for lesbians to work as exotic dancers, because all that bumping and grinding doesn’t mean much or provoke any unwanted emotions. I’m not saying straight dancers get turned on by the moves (who knows, a few might I suppose), but because those activities with men are usually associated with sex and relationships, when you do them outside of those relationships they can still evoke the same emotional response. Does that make any sense? Lesbians can be more detached and clinical about it.
The bosses may well prefer lesbian staff too - less likely to sleep with the clients.
And then if you consider that these women are working around other hot women all night, and see only lecherous leering men at work, it’s not suprising that any latent homosexuality comes into practice!
Wonder if my local stripjoint has any vacancies…
Btw, when I first saw the title of this thread, I thought it would be about exotic dancers in lesbian clubs. I saw one once, who was a bit half-hearted about her work, and the crowd were a bit half-hearted about the supposed lusting too. She made a good ice-breaker, a conversation piece, but wasn’t in the least bit sexy. Later on they had lap-dancers, and I think they ahem went down a bit better, but few of us took part. So exotic dancers in lesbian clubs are a strange concept for me, yes.
auntie em, the fact she was bisexual and a stripper didn’t bother me at all. Like I said, at first, it was pretty damn cool. Then I just realized it wasn’t. Then I realized, I just didn’t like her and we really had nothing in common. Then we broke up.
I forget who I’m stealing this line from, but an insightful person once said:
“All exotic dancers make an unwritten agreement with their audience: For a fee, I’ll pretend I want to have sex with you, and you’ll pretend to believe me.”
Since it’s all a pretense anyway, I don’t see why a gay woman couldn’t pull off the same scam!
As for the “exploitation” angle, I recall the words of a local comedian. He said, “Feminists always rip into men for going to strip clubs. They say we’re exploiting women. Exploiting women??? At the end of the night, I walk out of that club with a hard-on and no money! I’M the one getting exploited!!!”
There were a few at the club I usually worked at, and the club I worked at in Ft. Worth there were LOTS. “things” happened in the dressing room!
