Leslie Nielsen has died... :-(

Dear God! He must’ve eaten the fish!

sad sad day

Well, you take a big chance getting up in the morning, crossing the street, or sticking your face in a fan. :frowning:

Remember, he had the lasagna.

Very sad day. RIP Mister Nielsen.

From the looks of this thread, still making us laugh…

That’s a mark of success.

Yeah, do!

And by the way, happy New Year.

At least O.J. is in prison, though no doubt he’ll escape in a Fugitive-inspired train derailment, followed by a long pursuit in which he searches for the mythical one-armed man.

Meanwhile, Nielson’s legacy of both fine dramatic and comedy roles will outlive him. Even in the shittiest, most underwritten comedy films he starred in his comedic timing was flawless, and he seems to have taken himself and his success only as seriously as anyone else did, which is to say to the point of being respectful of his fans without being pompous.

Stranger

God, that’s just awful all around.

Am I the only one who didn’t realize he was that old? For some reason, I reckoned he was about 10 years younger.

Hospital? What’s that?

[sub]So long Shirley. :([/sub]

It’s a big building with patients, some of whom occasionally think they’re Ethel Merman, but that’s not important right now.

Classy guy, very versatile, a fine and unique Hollywood career, and yet another Canadian gift to the world. Goodbye, Leslie.

This is the first thing that ran through my mind to post after reading the OP. Well Done, Rhythmdvl. Someone should post a link to the sound file for this line. I’d do it, but I’m too damn tired.

Here is a link to the parachute not opening sound file.

(Posted as a tribute to the late Leslie Nielsen).

Goodyear?

No, the worst.

Or blown up by a b–!

“Jane, maybe our lives aren’t worth a hill of beans, but this is our hill! And these are our beans!”

RIP, Leslie Nielsen. You were the most ramrod-straight of Hollywood straight men… and your life was indeed worth a huge hill of beans.

No. Not a b–! A bomb.

Who are you, and how did you get in here?

It’s a big building with patients in it, but thats not important right now.

Not a bad legacy.

Whoa–just realized we lost Peter Graves, Barbara Billingsley, and Leslie Nielsen all this year. Is the “Law of Threes” complete, or is Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s life in danger?
