Let's change the language, the SDMB way

Vaguely inspired by this thread, as well as this thread, I’d like to see if it’s possible to launch a new word, a neologism, upon the world.

We would need, first of all, nominations. Then we’d need a consensus, and then finally some Googling to find out if our chosen word is really as novel as we think. After that, we’d have to all of us agree to use it, here on these boards and elsewhere on the Internet. No use bothering with real life for the moment.

So ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. Anybody have a nice catchy word they think should exist? Give it to us, with a definition.

Has anyone ever done “that thing when two people are trying to get out of each other’s way, and they both keep moving at the wrong time”? I call that Zogging (from zig-zagging).

Flinge - The act of attaching a flange onto something.

Ipodlivious–an unawareness of one’s own body on the sidewalk in relation to others’ bodies, caused by listening to loud music through ear buds.

I have been trying to get this word going for about a year.
A fibjet is a person who is in the background of a favourite photo. Somebody that you do not know. You had a photo made of you and your wife standing in front of the Eiffel tower. Just walking past at that moment- a guy in the background in captured for eternity in your photo. That guy is a fibjet. You look at the photo every day at work. You see the fibjet every day.

What I need is a better definition for my word. Maybe that is why I cannot get it up and running.

The best I can come up with on my own account is “stinch” – a slight but unpleasant odor.

Personally, I favour “awkstepping”.

A railbreaker; a thing, be it a noise, smell, sight, etc. which jogs you out of your train of thought when you are oblivious to all else.
