Let's get the Pit nice and warm for RaleighRally

I’m not sure where you get that notion from.

Only, what, 2 or 3% of the population even identifies as atheist, and I can show you several thousands (if not millions) of hard-core Christians in this country who are the biggest losers we’ve got.

Not the one you’re pointing to. Here’s the problem:

Gyrate forgot to include “risible”. As the poster just prior to Gyrate had mentioned. FAIL! Try this:

See my point? Not enough Gyration.

And William Luther Pierce (author of The Turner Diaries, founder of the neo-Nazi group National Alliance, founder of a racist form of pantheism (no, really) called “Cosmotheism”) was a Ph.D. and professor of physics. No dummy. But, we all know that highly intelligent people can still be wrong about a lot of things; and I doubt the movement has all that many physicists in it now.

RaleighRally’s responses remind me of a bizarre interview with somebody from Vidor, Texas (notoriously well known as a town of bigots and has nearly no black residents). She started out by saying that she was not personally racist. Had nothing against black people, they were all decent folk, it’s ok if they eat in the same restaurants, etc. But she wouldn’t want to live next to one and didn’t think it right for them to live next to white people. But she wasn’t racist. No sirree.

Racist little scumbag is right.

I considered it but it didn’t scan as well. Aesthetics are important.

Having failed to convince anyone of anything, he’s apparently decided the best tactic is to declare victory.

All this time I’ve been assuming intellectual dishonesty was his modus operandi but no, he just crazy.

Seriously, that right there is a “grain alcohol and rainwater” moment of revelation. Purity of essence must be maintained!

:dubious:

I’m part of a very religious community, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard that stereotype. And certainly my time here hasn’t shown that to be true. I might disagree with Der Trihs and company about just about everything in GD, but I don’t think they’re losers.

I think you might be thinking of (to borrow a phrase from TvTropes) Nietzsche-wannabes who go around pretentiously telling you there’s no point to life, because they think it’s cool. We’ve had those, too.

Why would he pretend to be Swedish? There’s nothing “romatnic” about pretending to be Swedish as opposed to pretending to be “Russian” and “communist” considering he can just talk about Mexicans and Asians if he’s American

You don’t get why someone would idealize the Swedes? The kind of guy who boasts of being tall, blond, and blue-eyed?

Anyway, it would seem he knows little about the United States. It would be pathetic were he American. Be he Swede, he is merely misinformed about us.

You’ll understand when you’re older.

Wei not trei a holiday in Sweden this yeer?

Yeah, but those are girls. The stereotypical Swedish male is…less impressive.

BORK BORK BORK!!!

I hate this fucking “no capitals” setting!

See the løvlêi läkes.

Not as important as alliteration, Wimp!!!

The trouble being, he seems even more misinformed about Europe than he is about the States.

The wonderful telephøne system.

The cuckoo clock…no wait, that’s the Swiss.

I always get Sweden and Switzerland mixed up because they’re right next to each other and they speak the same language and all that. Also, which one of them used to be Swaziland? I always forget.

There’s nothing to mix up, they’re actually alternative names for the same place – you know, like Holland and the Netherlands, or Britain and England, or China and Japan.
