Let's have some breakfast in the MMP!

This is a week of happy breakfasts - I have leftover quiche. So I can start the next few days (and today) with a quick slice of quiche  zapped for one minute in the microwave. Yummmmmmm!

Lately, I’ve been having cottage cheese with fruit, and sometimes I’ll roll up some cheese in a tortilla and zap that till the cheese is melty. Most important is that I have protein in the morning - otherwise I get all headachy, and we don’t want that, do we??

What do you like for breakfast? Does that differ from what you actually have? Do you believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day?

Pardon me now while I eat my breakfast. Carry on!

Happy Moanday!

First!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’ YAWN 'Tis 60 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 62 for the day and rainy. ICK!

I’m havin’ left ofer Irish soda bread and oj for brekkie this mornin’. It’s important to eat sump’n first thing in the mornin’ IMO.

Ok that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and to eat my brekkie as rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Le sigh.

Happy Moanday Y’all!

I had a bowl of scrambled aigs from the local Wawa. I was too nauseated yesterday to pack my usual brekkies and munch for today.
Blurf.

This just in: Knitting and crocheting are dangerous!

Lucky for me, I just buy cheap acrylic yarn. It doesn’t unravel unless someone cuts the work. As far as I know, no babies or old people have died using anything I’ve ever made.

In this house, you’re in more danger of being poked with a knitting needle if you piss me off!

I had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just toast with nothing on it. I think it’s called “dry toast,” but I knew someone who called it “naked toast.” :stuck_out_tongue:

So I ate naked toast today, but I did not eat toast naked.

Well, Moanday has decided to live up to its name. Besides bein’ dreary and icky, the first thing I dealt with this mornin’ was the power blinkin’ on and off for about thirty minutes. As far as ‘puter related stuff no biggy as little pad thingy is fully charged but annoyin’ for the phone bein’ as no power equals no orifice phone. Plus I have a conference call at ten this mornin’. ICK! The power has behaved itself for the last twenty minutes or so. Maybe whatever it is is over itself now.

Coffee. I like coffee for breakfast. I like coffee for elevensies. I like coffee for lunch. I LIKE COFFEE!!!

I also prefer to have protein in the morning as opposed to just carbs. I always marveled at how my cow-orkers made it past 10:30am without falling asleep at their desks after their breakfasts of carbs and fat and no protein.

Oh, leftover quiche makes the BEST breakfast! Mine this morning was pigs in a blanket: a Lil Smokiewrapped in a croissant-in-a-tube.

I am wearing brown leather shoes and a black leather jacket. Alert the fashion police! I should not be allowed out in public. Or something.

Real men don’t eat quiche.
:dubious:

I’m wearing dark blue pants and a dark blue top that match in colour, but over my shirt I’m wearing a pullover in a different shade of dark blue that clashes with the rest of my outfit! I figure that once I arrive at where I’m going today, I can take the pullover off and look slightly more acceptable.

That’s the second time in this MMP that I’ve used the  smiley. Maybe I should aim to live a less shocking life. On second thought… nah. :stuck_out_tongue:

Real men eat fish!

My usual breakfast is two bowl of cereal (with milk for Rosie’s protein). Then I’ll have a snack (like a pastry) at irk.

If it’s a slow weekend day, I’ll make aigs, snausages, po-taters, etc. but that might be only once a month or every other month.

Real men don’t give a damn what other people think about what they eat… :stuck_out_tongue:

For the record, it is pretty much impossible to get a basic phone plan that doesn’t include data. I guess those of us who don’t have and don’t want smartphones are just screwed. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a plan that makes more sense for us than the go-phone, and apparently there isn’t. We either pay by the minute or we pay lots more for stuff we don’t use.

Sometimes technology sucks!

Up, and caffeinated. Working tonight. My favorite team(which is not making the playoffs) is playing my second favorite team(which is making the playoffs), and the captain of my second favorite team is on my fantasy team. Darn hard to choose a side tonight.

If I’m up at the crack of dawn, just coffee. If I go in later, I like to have some aigs. This morning, I’m having a bacon, aig, and jack burrito, with Salsa Verde.

Midget, and Dry white toast?

BBBobbio, it sure is. Just ask the enemies of Madame Defarge.

It is all about making money.

**doggio **- I knew the clip before I clicked on your link!

All meals are the most important. I do love breakfast and have eggs (or EggBeaters) every morning. I would like to branch out but I must have protein, not just carbs (like cereal) in the A.M.

Saturday I was ambling around town in a t-shirt. This morning I had to put on my winter boots, coat, and gloves and drive it irk in 3 inches of snow. Dagnabitblah! I iz ready for spring, or at least ready for NO SNOW.

Tee hee. Wet one would rather it be rain instead of snow; rain of course, would make her a…wet one!

Doggio, I meant to ask midget if her dad likes four whole fried chickens & a coke…& if he dresses like a Hassidic diamond merchant.

Happy Moonday!

It’s a sunny 30 degrees outside brrrrrr!
What happened to spring?

I overslept again today. just got up a bit ago. I guess I need the sleep.

No breakfast for me today, I’m going straight to lunch.

Up annoyingly early for a day off, but oh well. I do need to be on campus a bit early today, to talk to a professor and make sure I’m on track with an assignment.

I agree that breakfast is in theory a good thing, but rarely bother. If I try to eat too early, I spend a lot of the day with indigestion, which makes me all grouchy. Also agree that protein is a very good thing if you want to stay fueled until lunch.
