I could get used to this havin’ my dindin fixed for me idea. ‘Twas very nummy. OYKW done good. He is now havin’ him a soak in the tub. The good thing about that is, since he’s the one who uses the tub the most, he’s in charge of tub cleanin’, which is good cause I hate to clean the thing. Win-Win!
Sari I’d go with the tireds. All day long I have felt like I could sleep all day. Tonight shall be an early evenin’. No need for Mel cause OYKW is here.
Oatmeal NOT STEELCUT with applesauce and orange juice. Every morning. And lots of coffee. I never used to eat breakfast when I smoked, now I’m Healthy.
As well he should have. This could turn into a vendetta.
On the trip back from Phoenix there were two rolleyes moments. For the first, you have to know that The Airline wants you to either print out your gate pass or, preferably - REALLY PREFERABLY - use their nifty phone app to check in. They charge you five bucks if you ask them to print you out a pass.
So as I’m waiting for them to start calling us to line up for boarding, they make this announcement. You may not be able to pull up your boarding pass on your phone because the wifi connection at the airport is just that slow. The app times out before the download is complete. They’re sorry and they’ll try to work around it if you can’t get it to come up.
Now I pulled up my boarding pass before I left the house, just in case, so all I have to do is turn on the phone and it’s there. But damn. Hearing that would not have encouraged me to upload their app.
Dinner is et, kitchen island is oiled and gallbladder is stabbing me.
I’m assuming that a gallbladder-ectomy is usually an elective thing that can be scheduled. Or do I go to the local ER complaining of acute colecystitis and hope it’s a slow night and someone feels now is as good a time as ever to yank the little green monster? Right. Ow, it’s more of an irritation than a panic, but my family history suggests there will be no if, only a when.
I’m going to leave Siri’s typo as it fits. Last line should have started as “Right now…”
Howdy Yall. 'Twas Moanday for sure today. I have been MIA in the MMP because I forgot my password and though I usually stay logged in for some reason I was logged out. Had to do the forgot password thing.
I have been sick with the crud. I am still on round two of antibiotics and still hacking up and blowing out really yucky stuff but at least it seems to be turning loose. I have had the crud twice as has DH and I think we are passing it back and forth. Sorry for TMI.
So in the interest of trying to be fair I screwed myself. There were two training seminars scheduled in Orlando. A four day one in March and a six day one in May. I decided I would attend the one in March and send my lead clerk to the one in May. Sent in requests for that. Well, the one in March that I wanted to attend was small with only 18 participants Navy wide. I was not approved. My clerk was approved for the one in May. That’s my trip. That’ll learn me to not be fair. It’s really OK as she will find these things are anything but a vacation. She’ll probably irk 100 hours that week. I found out that the selections were made for employees who had never attended one of these. I had been on three cruises and a trip to San Diego so it’s only fair.
Irk has been so busy. I have already met the projected sales for March with still a week to go. Business is good. It is Budget Writing time so I have been doing that off and on between my regular duties. I wish that was all I ever had to do. I am good at it and enjoy it.
As for breakfast I have taken to drinking hot tea instead of coffee but do not usually eat anything until lunch time as I am usually in a mad rush in the mornings. My favorite breakfast food is eggs, grits and bacon or sausage with rye toast. I do have it on the weekends sometimes and we will occasionally have it for supper. I love blueberry pan cakes but it is not on my diet.
Here is hoping everyone has a great rest of the week.
**gotti **- my gall bladder extraction was scheduled for a few weeks after my attack and diagnosis. Spousal unit, on the other hand, kept ignoring symptoms till he ended up in the ER - turns out his was infected and had to be yanked pretty much immediately. So those are your only options. Sorry. I recommend my way - it was day surgery and I had only 4 tiny little incisions. Back in the olden days when my dad had his taken out, he was left with a big ol’ scar down his right side. Chicks dig scars, and I know that’s not your thing…
Moving on…
Terrible night of random weird dreams and frequent wakings. But I’m showered, dressed, and quiched, and I’m still caffeinating. Today’s big plan is stripping the bed. Taz won’t be happy - too bad so sad.
I’ll need to run to the credit union some time soon - we got our capital credit checks from the electric co-op in FL - they keep coming for so many years after you’re no longer a member. We missed a bunch early on because we didn’t provide our forwarding address, so we lost a couple hundred dollars there. At first, they take a $1/mo maintenance fee, then after 3 years, they consider the check to be theirs. Since we lived there 2 different times, we had 2 different accounts so we get 2 checks. Eventually, there will be only 1 check, then nothing. So, free money.
I believe the co-op here just credits the money to your account.
Um, I think that’s all I’ve got this morning. Welcome back, Butters!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 59 Amurrkin and foggy out with a predicted high of 75 and sunny for the day. Nice! Firday’s high, however, will be ONLY in the 50s. Spring be weird.
{{{gotti and butters}}} feel better!
Ok, that’s all I got. I read all but retained little. Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. ‘Tis the Tuesday before payday so that means I shall have a report of any time sheets not received first thing this mornin’. Dare I hope everybody got time sheets in already?
I’m the poster child for cholecystectomies when you are symptomless. If you have a bona fide diagnosis that says your GB must go, then the surgery isn’t exactly elective, if that makes a difference.
When mine went, I could tell the difference between surgical effects and my royally POed liver; discounting the liver damage, I would have been near 100% on Saturday after surgery on Wednesday.
