Just back from taking Higgs for a walk. We went to the end of the road behind ours - maybe half a mile total. She was in sniffing heaven, and I think she may have eaten a few things along the way, despite my best efforts to keep her moving.
As we were coming back along the side road, there were at least 3 deer charging thru the woods, but they freaked when the school bus came by, and turned around to run back from whence they came. I was glad they didn’t run in front of the bus - that could have been really bad.
Too bad Mousemaven is not still around, she could instruct you on the correct wrist snap to, ahem, terminate the vermin. That was her job at the lab…
New dishwasher has been achieved. They were here all of twenty minutes to get it installed and runnin’. It’s so quiet! Anywho, that has happened and sammiches have been ingested. All is well.
MOOOOOOM I hear ya about the deer. It’s deer heaven out my way. They bound across the main road into the town almost constantly at night and even at times durin’ the day. This is a Fall and Spring thing every year.
Don’t you know, you’re supposed to take them on a long drive out to the country. 
Groceries are bought. Supper has been ingested (Nashville hot chicken, turnip greens and red beans and rice from the soul food place).
Tomorrow, I’m meeting two friends for lunch at the noodle house, then making my pilgrimage to see SIL with Mexican pastry (and a couple of doggy treats for my lastest FB friend 
).
Howdy. Home and finally the weekend. I swear the days just get longer and longer.
I had to do my employees evaluations today but I got it done. Good thing I only have four employees.
Came home and went to the grocery. We had hot dogs for dinner as no one wanted to cook. Hubby is already snoozing. I have to walk the dog and then I shall try to sleep too and I don’t have to get up early. Hoo Ray.
Mowed the lawn, hopefully for the last time this year, only got one bag full of clippings so I think between a couple of cold nights and the lack of rain (Ali-bama is in ‘severe’ drought conditions) it has pretty much gone to sleep until April, so no more bagging clippings for 4-5 months (yeah!). Went out to the local family restaurant for grilled ham-n-cheese sammichs with fries and sweet tea, and signed up to work on three soccer games tomorrow starting at 0800 (temperature should be about 40F then…oh joy).
swampy, got my new dishwasher about 6 weeks ago, may you be as happy with yours as I am.

I hate Jersey more than I hate anything else and I would go again like a shot! If I was more sure what summer held for me in terms of work and more I would so be over that. But I may just settle for some more DiggerGear to replace the stuff I’ve been wearing out.
And in 36 hours I will be Old-Wench-less for a whole week and then some (a couple hours extra). WOOHOOOOOO!!!
