I was wondering if there was a problem with the boards today as it’s well past time to have a new MMP.*

That, & I didn’t want to be the one to do the clichèd Thanksgiving MMP.
My house is open!! It’s 66°!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!
Tomorrow night, they’re offering us rain and snow showers, and Wednesday, the high will be 39°. but today is glorious and I will breathe the mild air!
**FCD **is enroute to the dentist to get his new crown affixed. I’ve got a load in the washer, and I might do a second load. That pretty much sums up my plans for the day.

It’s raining here in beautiful no. Illinois, and supposedly the rain will turn to snow but I don’t care. My outside Christmas twinkle snowflake lights are dead and I need to find a replacement. Wednesday my new appliances are being delivered but the dishwasher and micro won’t be installed until the new cabinets and countertops which are scheduled to arrive the first week of December.
I did come in and look earlier to see if there was a new MMP but I didn’t start one in case someone else had something vastly interesting and exciting to say.
It was cold and frosty this morning, in fact the temperature was bang on zero degrees when I got to the train station so it is properly cold now. Thus I am looking forward to Sunday when I will be leaving home and heading to Vegas, baby!

Quite the appropriate MMP title this morning as I’m cleaning up a FB mess that has the potential to trigger a crime instigated by an older relative who doesn’t reason anything she writes before clicking post. Most of the time, she just stirs shit, but this time, I was alerted to something she posted on my timeline by a LEO friend of mine as placing my parents in potential danger. :eek:

“Turkey week” for North American mumpers? Umm, not in Canada, we had Thanksgiving last month. I do wish I could have turkey this week, though, because I like it.
I didn’t get my foot x-rayed because I couldn’t find the place. I need to print out directions at irk tomorrow and try again. I did pick up four skeins of yarn so I can attempt to make scarves for my sisters for Christmas. That’s going to be the new plan for the day.
I’ve declared my independence from Thanksgiving. I never really thought much of it as a holiday so I’m not going to celebrate it anymore. Woo-hoo a day where I can do what** I **want instead of going to “visit.”
**Midget **- you can have turkey any time you want! It’s not like there’s a law restricting turkey to Thanksgiving… I always have a package of turkey lunch meat in my fridge - lurves me some turkey sammiches!
It’s just that it takes longer to cook than a lot of other foods, so we usually only have it on the weekend.
Real honest to G-d cranberries in the store. I will pack the freezer with them.
