I think yes, he can climb out, but with great difficulty (unless he has some kind of monster superstrength, I mean). I’m picturing the grave to be slightly bigger length & width-wise than a bathtub, but obviously deeper. So I think he’d be able to scrabble his way up by kicking off the opposite wall, but it wouldn’t be easy.
Frankly, now that he’s some sort of feel-no-pain, lose-no-blood brain-scrambler, I wish I’d dug it a little deeper, but at least, I figure, if he sprouts horns or fangs we’ll be able to get some serious whacks on him before he’s out of it. No offense, Santo.
The rest of the group – at this point I’d like to register serious misgivings. There are warning bells going off like the dickens, here. Odds are he’s got what she had, and that didn’t work out so well for us. But he doesn’t appear to be aggressive, and he sounds like he’s still Santo, so now what?
glee – do you remember (does glee remember?) – did the lady bleed when you hacked her up? If you have to, check your sword.
NAF, my vote is don’t touch him or his stuff. We don’t need two of you.
Back to Santo – you said your dream was coming back to you slowly. Tell us what you can remember. There was a lady; a flowing robe? What’s this about finding a priest?
This is, what? Your arm? Left or right? Inner or outer? How many tendons are you willing to cut? Because you’re stating to lose ability to make a fist.
Hm.
Explain the mechanics of the blessing, please? He has to hold it to tell if it’s worked, in all likelihood? And if he’s not the same as he was before, it definitely won’t work? It might not work anyway, I know, but there’s no chance we’ll have a monster with a blessed sword, right?
Santo, just put the sword down, please. NAF can bless it and you can pick it back up. No need for any confusing transactions, right? We’re all friends here.
Rugger has to still be a believer and a member of the church for it to have worked. Let me bless Glee’s sword also, just in case, and also so we will have a basis for comparison. (Glee is our best fighter right? )
The sword must be touched to be blessed. If the blessing works, Laranians will have a slight bonus using it, and non-Laranians will have a slight penalty. Just swinging it around a bit should be enough of a test to tell.
