:smack: They actually play it this way in rec leaugue baseball in the 6-7 year old age group, while they’re still learning the game. Each team’s coach pitches to his own players. Sometimes they’ll stand there, pitching for what seems like freaking foreeeeeeever, just so a kid can get a hit. I think *that’s[i/] worse than striking out in three pitches.
The other players are on base and warming up, waiting their turn, and there’s this one kid who just can’t get a hit, yet they just keep on pitching to the poor kid. It’s humiliating, IMO.
