Yeah, let’s get with the program & have some pretty pictures of lights & ornaments & things on the board. It looks like it could sure use some season greetings!
It starts at home, ya know!
Lemme see about some downloads here, from download@cnet.com:
Hope this helps.

I take it Tuba’s response means there will be no Christmassy version of the SDMB. For this I say thank you–otherwise I would become violently ill.
Bah, humbug. (And I mean that in the nicest possible way.)
'Bout time for a Grinch sockpuppet to show up here isn’t it?
Ahem. Not. Now, let’s put some pretty seasonal red & green up. None of that old holiday light stuff which has to be registered & paid for.
Anything is better than reading that ad about Jean-Luc Godard. Some of his films are really perverse. A director that worked with him was our film teacher at UCSD & he showed some of their films & boy are they major weird.
Is someone here criticizing the skills of famous swiss film-maker Jean-Luc Godard?
Sure, he doesn’t direct “Charlie’s Angels”, but his films are intelligent and thought-provoking. Rent one today! For an easy introduction to his work, try A bout de souffle (Breathless) with the great french actor Jean-Paul Belmondo.
TubaDiva, thanks for not forgetting the Mac folk! I alread had “Holiday Lights” and plan on running it all of next week.
The Straight Dope also heartily endorses Gouda Cheese, films with Rutger Hauer and/or Jeroen Krabbe, films directed by Paul Verhoeven, music by The Golden Earring, Shocking Blue, Focus, Harry Sacksioni, and last but not least, anything involving Jos Verstappen (kudos to those who know who the last guy is!)
