Yes – very sincere apologies. This is my wife’s and my fault; we ended up visiting friends and stayed way past our planned time, despite urgent pleas from the younger Bricker to get home and do battle.

TCG has no cash prizes in premier tournaments. You can win a scholarship, however. I’m not sure how this relates to the video game. Can you find the information on go-pokemon.com?
Worlds is this weekend. I think it’s also Worlds for the video game.
I feel bad, but Thursday or Friday maybe? I have hot date lined up to see Harry Potter tonight. 
In the meantime, though, does he need a Phione? If so, just have him get a crappy Pokemon to trade for it. He can consider it a gift (birthday, if that’s coming up, otherwise an early Labor Day gift;) )

I am so sorry. We had a minor disaster here – a light fixture broke because a certain junior Pokemon trainer was throwing things in the house – and it had to be vacuumed up. Tomorrow would be fine; Bricker Jr is eager to trade and battle.

We can trade first, then take a minute to set up a team for battling. I’m bringing Groudon <-> Jirachi and Phione <-> whatever. Please tell Jr that whatever he catches/has on hand is fine, the Phione is a gift and I don’t want him to go to any trouble over it.
I think I’ll be at Starbucks, but if its quiet enough, I’ll leave voice chat on so BrickJr can taunt me as he pulverizes my team. 
I’m on and ready for the trade. I also got my team assembled, now I’m just waiting nervously…
No voice, but BrickJr can imagine the winces I’ll have when he knocks me out. I imagine that will happen quite often.
