I don’t need to know the EVs, but thanks anyways. Also, since I didn’t have time to breed ‘fresh’ versions of the minor 2, I gave them some semi-rare berries. Hopefully he can find a use for those. Also, next time I’ll remember to turn on voice chat. I completely forgot about the feature until I was gone.

That Deoxys was, IIRC, the result of a Gamestop giveaway, where you had to show up with your DS in hand and you could download a “mystery gift” which turned out to be Deoxys.
He’s happy with Cressila, and spent last night killing Gastrodons outside the Ironworks to raise Cressila’s defense EV’s. According to him, “Cressila makes a great wall.”
I’m glad. Have him translate the name and he’ll be well on the way to learning Japanese.

I’m going to Afghanistan for a few months this October and am looking for a few DS games that can take many many hours of playing but still show progression. I thought of trying a Pokemon game but am unsure of which DS game to get to start. Is one just as good as another? Or should I get whatever the latest one is? If I get two colors how do I trade them between carts?

Cubsfan- If you only get one, I suggest Platinum. It has all the features of the earlier Diamond & Pearl plus additional rare pokemon and a slightly altered story and improved endgame.
To trade between carts, you need 2 DSs and 2 games (Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum can trade freely between themselves.) The easiest way to play is to have a friend go through the other game simultaneously and you can trade to get what’s only available in one game.
Unfortunately my wireless has decided it didn’t want to work anymore, so we’re going to have to put this trade on hold until I can figure out what’s wrong.
That’s fine, I’ll just keep 'em boxed up. The Squirtle has Water Pulse and the Charmander has Flamethrower from their dads. Bulbasaur didn’t get any moves, though. All three are male, but Ditto isn’t too hard to come by, so you’ll be able to breed your own.

I have a Sunkern, a Koffing, a Slugma. No Cleffable, but I do have a Cleffa and some moon stones if you don’t mind building up its happiness yourself. I don’t have a Groudon yet since I’m only halfway through Emerald right now, but within a week or so, I should be able catch him, Rayquaza, and Kyogre. I have Mewtwo, however, along with all 3 legendary birds if that’s something you’re interested in. I also have all the starters from LeafGreen, Emerald, and Pearl.
The ones I’d most like are Chikorita/Bayleef/Meganium, Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typhlosion, and Totodile/Croconaw/Feraligatr. Other than those, I need a Corsola and a Zangoose. Finally, I’m sure you don’t want to trade away your Deoxys, but would you be okay with trading it and getting it right back? I just want to be able to look for one on GTS. The most valuable thing I’ve got is a shiny Palkia to use as collateral, but to get Deoxys in the Pokedex, I don’t need to leave the trade room.

Go to the Pal Pad in key items, it lets you input other people’s codes and there’s an option to show yours.
