CyclopticXander- Are you still interested in the Mewtwo <-> Totodile? Or is there anything else you might want? I’ve got all the starters (except for that one) and uncommon ones like Spiritomb, Tangela, Tropius, etc. I’ll throw in a Phione too since they’re pretty much free to me.

You then need to Pal Park him and trade him twice: once holding Up-Grade to get Porygon-2 and then holding Dubious Disk to get Porygon-Z.
Not only the fact that Gengar is immune to Ground, he’s also immune to Fighting and Normal attacks, so he’s a great switch-in in double battles if his partner wants to Explode or Self-Destruct. And in single battles, he’s immune to an Exploding or Self-Destructing Pokemon. Alakazam is speedier but much weaker to physical attacks and has no immunities of any kind.
PorygonZ is a good choice too, because he can learn lots of moves and gets a bonus for TriAttack which has a chance of freezing, burning, AND paralyzing you!
Both of those are very good points. A good thing about PorygonZ is he can learn “Magnetic Rise” which causes him to levitate.
My favoring Gardevoir is because of her stronger special defense, but mostly because I don’t want to use a special attacker that every other person in the world is using. I’m already “selling out” by having a Blissey on my team.
On another note, I have a bunch of Wailmer with Ice Beam and Body Slam, Sneasel with Ice Punch, and Gibble if anyone wants one. I’m not looking to for anything in return, I just have a lot.

Some general thoughts and questions before I fight the Elite 4 (+1) in Emerald.
I’m gearing up to take on the League in Emerald and I need a strong Ice attacker. I’m leaning towards Walrein, but I could also catch a Regice. Any reason to favor Regice other than less levelling needed?
My strategy is depending on Breloom and Sableye for the Dark-type battle, Sableye and Swampert (no super-effective moves, but he’s a decent tank) for the Ghost-type, Breloom and Camerupt (maybe with Walrein for Thick Fat) for the Ice-type, Swampert and ???Ice for the Dragon-type, and Manectric and Breloom for the Water-type.
Sableye and Breloom really carry the team which worries me a little. Breloom is pretty strong and has great Fighting moves, but only has Mega Drain for Grass and I depend on him for 3 battles. I have the recovery items, but there’s a lot that could go wrong. Sableye has good moves, but is a weak-ish Pokemon stat-wise. I’m also nervous about the Ice battle, since half of them are also Water, which would wreak havoc with Camerupt. I could dump Swampert and go with Registeel or Aggron as tanks, but that’s a lot of work gaining levels and I’m not sure how important it would be. Maybe if I lose control in a battle, I could throw one of them out while healing up, but again, I’m not sure if the extra work is justified.

I have a phione from pokemon ranch, I’ll take another though if you have a lot of spares bred. We can evolve your clamperal. Great line by the way, I made a huntail out of mine and I love it.

45ish, with my goal being 50ish (55 for Breloom and Sableye)
That’s where I got mine. 
I won’t bother with it, then, since my idea was mostly to get it for people that don’t have one.
I haven’t levelled my Huntail much, but it has been pretty strong. I was lucky enough to find a Clamperl w/ fang on GTS a few weeks ago. Gorebyss seems decent, but I’ll probably stick with Huntail.

After I get my Latios/Latias (whichever is the blue one) and Rayquaza from Emerald. But I suck, so we have to cap the battle at 50 or 100. 
Speaking of legendaries, do you have any of the event ones, particularly Jirachi or the newer ones. 'Cuz I have no idea of how else I’m going to get them other than beg.

Online battles automatically put everyones pokemon to 100. If you use legendaries then you will probably win, I don’t use any overpowered pokemon.
I have a few events I’ve gotten in trades, and I got an event Deoxys when Gamestop was giving them out. It’s kind of hard to finagle sometimes, but you can come across people who have them who are looking for something really specific that you have. Also keep an eye out for the events that Gamestop and Toys R Us have every now and then.
IIRC, there are 3 options: lvl 50 battle, lvl 100 battle, and open battle. Open is the only one that doesn’t fix levels. And I won’t use legendaries if you won’t. 
I got my Deoxys from GTS after BrickJr showed me his. I think I traded one of the Lake Trio for it. (The original was 70-something, I’ve since gotten a lvl 38 that I intend to customize a bit.) The only recent event I’ve seen was Regigas in the UK; I figure most of the movie tie-ins are either going to cost me dearly and I might have to resort to GameFaqs. /shudder
Yea no legendaries lvl 100 battle would be best. Also double battling is always more fun as far as I’m concerned, but I’m up for whatever.
