He’s got a friend staying over tonight, so he’s entirely focused on IRL stuff today and tomorrow. I’ll ask him about the Groudon thing Saturday.

Bricker Jr asks: how do you find and enter these tournaments?
Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Latias, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus.
I’m most interested in the first 3, but any of them are fine. I also need a Raikou, since its probably easier to trade for one than to start a new game on LG.
I just got around to beating the Elite 4 today, so it may be a day or two until I actually prepare for, catch, and transfer Groudon, but I’ll keep you updated. I’m also grabbing Latios, if you need him; I saved my Master Ball for him, so I just have to find it. The big-ticket stuff I’ll have are Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, the 3 Regis (I need to use them for Regigigas, but that won’t take long), and Latios.

BrickJr*- All of my Emerald rares except for Latios are caught and transferred now, so the Groudon is ready whenever. He has a Naive nature (w/ “Likes to thrash about.”). Lvl 70 w/ Fire Blast, Rest, Fissure, and Solar Beam. No EVs yet. The Kyogre (if you’re interested) has a Naughty nature (w/ “Alert to sounds.”), lvl 70, w/ Hydro Pump, Rest, Sheer Cold, and Double-Edge, no EVs. Rayquaza has a Lax nature (w/ “Proud of its power”) at lvl 70, w/ Rest, Extreme Speed, and Outrage, no EVs.
I have the all 4 Regis, but unless you want to offer Raikou or Entei, I’d rather keep them. I also caught Regigigas (lvl 70, Modest nature w/ “Often dozes off,”, Confuse ray, Stomp, Superpower, and Zen Headbutt, no EVs) and would be willing to trade him for a copy of the same (I want the exp bonus 
), but that isn’t a huge deal. Finally, there’s a lvl 70 Heatran that I don’t really need; if you want it, no reasonable offer will be refused. It’s on GTS right now but I don’t really expect anyone to give me the Groudon I’m asking for it.
*- Anyone else is welcome to make offers for anything but the Groudon.
I was actually wondering if I could use you tomorrow to trade my Porygon a couple of times so I can evolve him? I’d have to trade him to you, get him back, exit the trade room, equip him with the other disk, then do another round-robin. Could we do that tomorrow?

That’s fine and yes I do. I’ve been meaning to level mine, so I may even be able to breed one for you, depending on whether I have time. Bring something to trade, just in case, whatever you have on hand will be fine.

Bricker Jr says: it should be for Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. If you have Mystery Gift enabled, you should be able to pick Recieve Gift via Nintendo WiFi and see it. If you have three Wonder Cards already, you will have to delete at least one first.
I will add in my own voice: this requires that you have set up WiFi access for your DS, which if you’re battling and trading I assume you’ve done already but just thought I’d add, because I am desperate to make a contribution in my own words. 
Porygon is fine. I’ll have time to breed some up after lunch. Do you have any gender or nature preferences?
I double checked the connection and still nuthin’. Anyone else with Pearl or Diamond having trouble?
And Bricker, I think you need to find a client whose case involves video games. Then you can play Pokemon all day, call it ‘research for the case,’ and bill them for it. Sure the guy got seizures from playing Ultra Death 5000, but you have to see if unrelated games are dangerous. Leave no stone unturned.

I blame Nintendo. Their sites aren’t clear at all about what version it was for; I’d expect them to put a “Platinum version only” thing at the bottom, but nooooooo! Stupid Nintendo. :mad:
