I didn’t even go looking for older threads like this one but I’d bet there are some. No matter. Link to one or more if you wish, but help come up with some new ones, too.

This is an old one that was prompted by a current thread asking about massage therapy. A friend of mine has been getting physical therapy for years, maybe decades by now, and he always refers to it as “getting theraped.”

What are some other fun ones like that?

Seagull - To abruptly interject oneself into a conversation and in doing so displace a less exuberant person. Usually used from the perspective of the displaced. “Marsha totally seagulled me before I had a chance to mention my barbecue this weekend.”
