He didn’t tell Quiddity what could be discussed in Lib’s thread; he just pointed out that Quiddity didn’t seem to understand what was being discussed. For Lib to accuse him of being “bold and pretentious” and, incidentally, a hypocrite (for “telling others not to do what you’re doing”) was pretty offensive, IMO.

Not to mention (she says, mentioning it) that I found Liberal’s “gentle metaphor” rather graphic and disgusting, and believe the underlying accusation of “threadshitting” to be completely unwarranted. Apos was responding to a post that purported to be about the substance of the OP but that, in fact, completely missed the point. He then hung around in the thread, obviously willing to engage more in the discussion. It wasn’t a case of “anybody who bothers with this stuff is L0000zer” doorslam.
