Is it because of “The Music Man” (“Marian the Librarian”) or the King novel 'Salems Lot, or just because I have always believed that there lies romance?
Hell, I don’t know! I have just always been drawn to them and listen very closely to what they say when they point me to a certain book or reference material.
And yeah, it DOES matter to me if she LOOKS intelligent. (Somehow you can just tell, IMHO).
Anyway, the “romance” part I don’t need (or had better NOT) to worry about.
Except a while back (Thanksgiving) I was visiting another city and was in the library for net access.
A couple of ladies near me were having a long conversation about TMI subjects, and defiantly not using their inside voices. VERY annoying, and I kept hoping one of the librarians would take them to task. I had just decided that it was up to me to deal with it, when I noticed the name tag on one of them…she was a librarian. Grrrrrr. At least she wasn’t cute.
