Life-sized Lego Car?

Hi, I need everyone’s help on this one. I’m looking to find if anyone in the world has ever built a working life-sized lego car. There appears to be a web-page on the Internet on such a thing, but all the links are dead. I’ve contacted the Lego corporation, but they haven’t been able to help me yet, so I’m trying to dig up this thing. I know it exists somewhere! I realize this is a bizarre shot-in-the-dark, but with the compedium of human knowledge located on this board, I’m sure someone will come up with something.

Also, if you guys know if any other unusual cars, or car-related matters, I’d be happy to listen. I work for a couple of car magazines, and I’m constantly on the lookout for wacky things. e.g. There’s a modified car in Belgrade which runs on wood, for instance. That sort of stuff.

thanks for the help, but what i’m looking for is this lego car that was made completely of legos (as far as i know,) resembled a ferrari or lambourghini (according to the accounts i read) and i believe it was functioning. it was made of something like 65,000 or 650,000 bricks, weighed over a ton, etc…

i have found one lead – that the bayer group sponsored it, so we’ll see what those folks in germany have to say. thanks for the help, though.
