"Lifelock" identity protection service - users?

I’ve seen the ad on TV where the CEO of this company has a big mobile billboard with his real social security number, and shows him passing out flyers with the same info. The implication is that a purchaser of this service will have bulletproof protection from identity theft.

Then I ran across this advertisement. The link is just an email address, and I’m not about to enquire further, but they are certainly make some startling accusations.

Anyone have experience with Lifelock? Worth the money (and how much is it)?
