I sure hate being wrong, but you make a good point. Cantaloupe is even more criminally underappreciated than coconut.

Well have been checking around, and it seems they don’t make the cantaloupe flavor anymore… They have something called mango melon, which I doubt is the same thing.

And my other favorite was tangerine, which for a brief shining moment got their own roll, and is also now gone.

I hate the people that make these decisions.

My mother is addicted to Tootsie roll pops and is always upset at the large number of the cherry flavors instead of lime and lemon, which are her favorites.

I just found out you can buy single flavors on Amazon (including lemon and lemon lime). Didn’t know that for Tootsie pops. They seem expensive to me, but I don’t know what they cost in stores since I don’t ever buy them.

Pineapple, schmineapple. The real tragedy in today’s candies is that lime has been removed! “Original” Skittles, Life Savers, generic suckers from the bank- no lime anywhere! There should be a lime lovers’ revolt, as lime is definitely the finest of the candy flavors!

Oh i agree with you sooooo much. I love lime flavor. And it keeps getting replaced with nasty “sour apple”. I like real apples well enough, but please spare me “sour apple” flavored candies.

The cantaloupe Lifesavers are the best!

But I haven’t bought any in ages, trying to give up most sugar & all. I am guessing they are still part of the tropical mix?

And you are correct about not biting into Jolly ranchers, those things will snatch your fillings out.

I forgot all about the cantaloupe flavor. Yes, those are very, VERY good too.

Did they ever make such a flavor in LifeSavers? I don’t remember it but I’d be all over it if so.
