I need help finding light usp mineral oil. All I have seen in stores is the heavy usp mineral oil.

No, I didn’t think you did since in the OP you said you couldn’t find it in a store. I searched on Amazon and had no problem finding it so I didn’t bother linking to it. Kayaker gave you a link to a gallon, here’s a smaller amount.
I don’t think that’s USP grade. Also do they have any made by a more well known company that comes in a bottle like this Amazon.com (that one is not light oil.)
I suppose that depends on what you consider ‘well known’.
Anyways, I’ve here’s some links to some that don’t say USP, but are lab grade so should probably qualify.
