"Like those of Caspar Weinberger"

The wind doth taste so bitter sweet,
Like Jaspar wine and sugar,
It must have blown through someone’s feet,
Like those of Caspar Weinberger.
-Opus

The man referred to in the greatest poem ever written has died.

To be sure, that was the first thing that entered my mind as well.

I may be misremembering, but isn’t the third line “It must have blown through other’s feet”, though?

You may be right; I winged it.

I see Casper just turned into a ghost…

Can’t forgive the guy for what he did in Central America and the Iran-Contra deal.
