Limericks with a twist

I think it was Isaac Asimov who relayed three of them:

1. There once was a man from Peru
   Whose limericks would end at line two.

2. There once was a man from Verdun

I read those long ago in Martin Gardner’s column in Scientific American. I’m glad you included #3; it’s one of my favorites. It perfectly describes the young man from Nepal who never wrote any limericks.
