Limit the internet to 10 websites.

I’d select the most dependable 10 proxies I could.

My list for work is completely different than my personal list. I doubt I could effectively do my job if I were limited to 10 sites.

My personal list, below, doesn’t consist of 10 sites now, so I’d have no problem staying within the limit.

SDMB
NPR
YouTube
Gmail
NHK News
MySoju
Amazon

In no particular order:

  • SDMB
  • Wikipedia
  • Google (making the assumption that I could get news through Google News)
  • Facebook
  • my WoW guild’s website
  • YouTube
  • Netflix
  • Amazon
  • My webmail site
  • WoWInsider.com

Honorable mentions:

Youtube
Straight Dope
Wikipedia
ebay
Yahoo
BBC
Cracked
Google
Facebook
Spankwire

Me too but then I realized it was the one with the vaginas.

I’d be fine if we just limited the Net to this site and The Oatmeal.

SDMB, but only if I could post a “Most of my internet is down, can someone google this for me?” thread about 10 times per day without getting banned…

Does picking google.com really get me gmail/maps/calendar/docs/reader for the price of one website? That’s a hell of a deal. And since Google Inc. owns youtube, maybe it’s only a matter of time before picking google would include youtube as well…
Can I still read my feeds in google reader?

  • Google (google+, gmail, etc)
  • Facebook
  • Credit Union
  • livejournal
  • SDMB
  • Postasecret
  • CNN
  • Local Newspaper

That’s all I can really think of. I feel, as of lately, that the Internet is getting boring.

I couldn’t do it. I shop too many sites. Shopping is what my computer is for. Porn is second. Talking is like fifth. Third and fourth, I won’t mention.

Dope
Wiki
Youtube
Netflix
foodgawker
Icanhazcheezburger [it is 57 or some such subsites]
customerssuck
grasscity
theawesomer
google+[and its attendant subsites]

I can always ask hubby to check on specific stuff I see on metasites like foodgawker and awesomer.

Google
Wikipedia
Netflix
FoxNews
Facebook
My bank
Bible Gateway
YouTube
My Lunch Money (site where I fund PandaKid’s lunches for school)
PandaKid’s school website

I’m also still trying to find porn on the internet that appeals to me.

So far I’ve found a whole bunch of it. But I keep looking for more.

No real order

  1. BBC
  2. Wikipedia
  3. Grantland
  4. SMDB
  5. IMDB
  6. Variety
  7. ESPN
  8. Cyclingnews
  9. Rottentomatoes
  10. I’m not about to advertise a porn site

Youtube was the last thing I cut. I needed film news as that is work related, I needed sports, and porn was a no brainer.

Yes, I too would be lost without the Straight Mope Dressage Board.

…ducks and runs

Google, if we can keep it for maps, gmail, calendar and docs. I can leave the search engine go.
Yahoo for my news and email
Ancestry.com for my genealogy
newspaperarchives for the same reason
Find A Grave, again genealogy
credit union 1
credit union 2, though I could drop this one if need be
Wikipedia
SDMB

I can’t think of a 10th as there are ones I use daily, but I could live without if need be. I’ve listed all the ones I use all the time and I use the train status daily, but I don’t need it.

Those are all I’ve used in the past month or so, except fark.com, which I went to on a lark, and akinator, which is just a time waster.

Wow, “misfile.com”. I’d forgotten about that webcomic.
