I’ve seen a number of OPs on this board that have been split in to 2 or even 3 parts, presumably due to length.

It’s always better to ask permission that forgiveness. Permission is often granted but forgiveness is not always forthcoming.
Drmark, I would hope your recent time away from the board has given you a better perspective on things and a desire to be a happier and more effective member of the message board community. That would be the best that the staff here could think of and what we want for everyone, not just you.
