Are there any limitations on the size/length of any single post or thread?

I think the vBulletin default is 10,000 characters, but it can be adjusted in the admin control panel.

Per post. As far as I know there isn’t any limit on how large a thread can get. There are a few threads on my site with over 1500 responses (and zero interesting content - damn game threads) that are still keepin’ on truckin.

I have a sneaking suspicion that we are going to see this long manifesto you mention. I also have a feeling that its going to be crazier, more self involved, more pedantic, and much more boring. I am not pointing any fingers, I just have a feeling.
Sure do. No particular time frame, but the post is already pretty huge. I just want to know if it will be rejected/ closed on size alone.

Isn’t that a given? I won’t speculate, but I imagine it will be angry and bitter and result in another ban/suspension.
Just basing my opinion on the past couple weeks. I could be wrong.
You know what would be great? If someone posted some enormous flame and nobody even viewed it, it just slowly drifted down of the front page like snow falling on cedars. That would be one of the funniest things to ever happen here.
I know. I know. Impossible you say. No way in hell this group could resist popping in for a suposedly witty drive by post, but nay, I say, nay. We as a community could, if we would but try, accomplish this noble and herculean task.
