Yeah, there’s really no need to strain here.
I don’t believe I’ve ever pitted anyone before (luckily this thread was already put in place), but this post in this thread bothers me due to the class based comments you are making.
Lindsaybluth,
Could you please explain what you mean by this post?
I find that I can only read this as you saying:
Rich suburban’s = okay
Working class suburban’s = not okay
First of all, you judge quite liberally with a broad brush, and I find the comments you’ve made here to be both arrogant and dangerously ignorant.
The statements that jump out at me are your praise of these nice, older, affluent suburbs and disdain for 100k, starter homes owned by people living paycheck to paycheck and maintaining the status quo.
I ask you now, what is so horrible about living paycheck to paycheck and trying to maintain ones lifestyle?
Never mind the fact that you throw in the Petco story as proof that we suburbans are racist. I have my own story. I live in a suburb, so does my sister who dared to marry a brown skinned man and there has been nary a Petco full of people to stare at them in sight.
After 11 pages of hijacks, you’ll get a lot more out of this by just starting a new thread.
I think this is bump lorene’s pit threads day.
Now I again have to wait for it to sink off the first page.
Also, if you read the 11 pages you’ll see that by Lindsey standards, that post is almost tactful. I honestly think she’s kinda trying to behave herself.
Apologies I didn’t think my irritation was enough to start a whole new thread, yet irritated I was. I won’t bump your thread anymore (…after this post…)
