This is a great video featuring, well, lions and crocs and buffalo. It’s 8 minutes long, but well worth a viewing as it’s one of the most astonishing nature videos I’ve ever seen. Yay for buffalo posse!

Weirddave, I’m pretty sure that video was part of how I managed to get into my PhD program. I’d seen it here before, and when I was talking to one of my advisors (the one who had the final say as far as the school was concerned), we started talking about whether or not prey know that predators can also be afraid. I mentioned this video to him, then e-mailed him a link that evening.
Now I’m in a PhD program! It’s truly an awesome video.
