I’m thinking about getting my lip pierced in the middle. Any positive or negative testimonials from anyone, regarding everything but specifically dental interference/damage?

I have never seen a facial piercing that I thought improved the looks of the wearer. Eyebrow pins always look like a swollen wound. Nose pins are hard to view without thinking “booger catcher.” Mouth pins often have a little trail of drool dripping down from them (sooooo sexy.)
The first facial piercings I saw were diaper-size safety pins among Sex Pistols era punk rockers. The fashion statement seemed to be, “Look at me, I love pain!” All these years later, that’s still the impression I get.
