There were gaps in between all of these. About a year and a half; then about 3 years; then about a year and a half; then about 3 months; then about 3 months again; and finally about 7 years (and counting). I am in my mid-30s.
Little shy of 4 years once you take out the period where we were just friends who were around each other more than the people we were dating.
12-18 months (the change from more casual to serious is hard to exactly pinpoint)

Other than plain old nosiness, I can’t think of a single reason you would want to know. So no. I’m not biting.
People sometimes want to compare their experiences to what they wonder might be more “normal.” Or at the start of the adventure we call life, they might want to have some idea of what’s in store. The problem I expect is that there is such variation in our experiences, ranging from “none” to “many,” so we may not learn much from a thread like this. (other than some better understanding of that variation)
I should have kept better records.
