Crap! My post was in response to racer72’s list, but I’ll tell you what quiltguy154’s list is, too. They’re all peppers.
Close enough. They are the winners of the Craftman Truck Series championship, in reverse order from last season.
Bippy:
Cite is: Welcome to the Yoga Jungle, Inside MS, Wntr, 2001, by Shoosh Crotzer. “Not very long ago, most Americans associated yoga with wiry old men in white loincloths who could wrap their heels behind their ears. Today, pop stars and talk show hosts tout yoga for everything from pimples to heart disease, while pictures of incredibly buff women and men in human pretzel positions have replaced that old guy in the loincloth. Plus, names are flourishing along with the hype: Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Power Yoga, Hot Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Flow Yoga, Kripalu, Kundalini.”

Characters to make smilies and other wingding-ey things in e-mails and text messages?
Scribble: Wrong!
Hint: imagine slashes around each of the items in my list, e.g. /i/ /y/ etc.
Hey, I can’t wait until I actually know one! I would never get to post these:
George Washington
Mark Twain
Elizabeth I
Arthur Godrey
Harold Grange
I can’t get any off the previous list, but I have one of my own:
Moose Jaw
Esqualmuit (sp?)
Alert
Cold Lake
London
Edmonton
Shilo
Natural redheads, right?
xayoz306: I recognize most of your names as Canadian settlements of various sizes. Is that specific enough?
My list:
Garrett Hobart
Charles Curtis
Schuyler Colfax
Rufus King
Levi Morton
Close. There is a more specific link that I am looking for.
Sternvogel – vice presidents of the U.S.?
xayoz306 this is a complete WAG but are they all settlements in Alberta?
Okay, I’ll take my “veeps” guess as correct and post the following;
Agouti
Coypu
Thirteen-lined spermophile
Boomer
Vole
Capybara
Well, I’m pretty sure they’re all rodents. I’m not too sure about the vole but I’ll venture and say South American Rodents?
Serpent
Sacbut
Shawm
Chalumeau
Crumhorn
Obsolete musical instruments.
Krummhorn
Bourdon
Gedackt
Kinura
Bombarde
More old musical instruments? Maybe old wind instruments?
Here’s a nice easy one

Has anyone got a solution to emekthian’s puzzle above?
Does it have any link with 16 bit character sets? (Japanese/Korean…)?
Quarks
Peter
Valentine
Petra
Bonzo Madrid
Bean
Fly Molo
You knew 13-lined spermophile but not vole?
Yup, all rodents – no geographical intent, but I think they’re all North and South American, but that’s a result of the book I was using, probably.
I knew that a vole was a rodent. I just wasn’t sure if it was South American since I’ve seen them in my yard.
