Today we finally brought our new baby home from the hospital. He was born Wednesday morning at 5:30 am, but he developed hypoglycemia and was in the NICU until early this morning. He was 6 pounds, 10 ounces, even though they induced me because the doctors thought he was going to be large. The labor wasn’t bad at all, the epidural made it much easier to take than my first, epidural-less birth. Physically, my recovery has been quite easy, although emotionally it was pretty rough having to come home without the baby for two days in a row. But now he’s home and seems to be doing fine.
Congratulations. I just love newbies. Hope he’s got 10 toes and fingers and all is well.
Would he be a CulturedPurl?
I hope his rough start is just that, a rough start.
Hooray!
Congrats and enjoy this time together!
I’m sure the next few days will be twice as happy, to make up for the stressful start.
Congrats on the new arrival!

Give the little one lots of love.
