Live broadcast of our performance of Roméo et Juliette, by Berlioz

My choir’s performance of Roméo et Juliette, by Berlioz, will be broadcast live from the Sydney Opera House on Friday night (6 June), in a concert starting at 8.00 pm* Australian eastern time. The orchestra and choir will be conducted by Charles Dutoit, a renowned Berlioz specialist. It’s a stunning work and should, I hope, be a great performance.

Just a bump since the performance is tonight.

Cheers for the notice. I look forward to it - hopefully I’ll be by a computer with the requisite software.

Break a leg, Cunctator! Or should I say in bocca al lupo?

Dang! I just missed it. Any chance it will get played again - I noticed they had a kind of archive.

Hope it went well!

Last night’s performance went very well, as did this afternoon’s, despite the horn player who stuffed up the cue for our offstage bit both times.

I’ll post the review if one appears.

Here’s the review from this morning’s (Monday’s) paper.
