Live from Pittsburgh, it's kittens!

This made me wonder something that I could probably research if I wasn’t so lazy, but as to cats watching screens…
Are newer tv and computer screens easier for cats to see than the old crts and tube screens? One of my cats has always been a kind of tv watcher, but since we got a new tv in the bedroom, he seems to do it all the time when I have it on and he’s not sleeping. He seems especially interested in programs with cats or other animals. By tv watching, I mean, actively involved and following the action with his eyes and ears.

Cats is weird.

Also, I’d like to add that I want to go crawl in the box and take a nap with the kittehs all over me!

Awwwwww! They’re all very cute, but the dark one with the white boots gets the blue ribbon from me.

Whoa, too cute. I have to go brush my teeth for all the sweetness

Maybe there’s something to that. As I mentioned, my cat Stripe will watch my laptop computer, if it is cats or kittens on YouTube; as with the Pittsburgh kitty-cam. My other cats will watch my flat-screen TV, if the program is something that interests them (nature programs, often featuring birds, for example). But they had no interest when similar programs were on my old CRT-TV.

Interesting!

I just saw the mother cat get in and nurse the kittens! So cute!

And the crowd goes wild!
(Mom showed up.)

Kitty wrestling match!

I just checked in again. They’re big enough now to be pouncing on things. Mostly each other.

There’s also this one, from a rescue place. There’s pretty much always frisky kitties here!

There’s a whole lot of varmints in there (one tabby showed up, and I thought pouncing was going to ensue!).

I looked in on them just now and they’re chasing and pouncing to beat the band.

There’s a kitten orgy going on just now. Five of them are rolling around together, and licking each other.

I’m still watching the original seven kittens. They’re fun now that they’re big.
