Living while black in America

As an Apartheid-raised non-White South African, let me just say you, newbie cunt, are talking a load of kak.

Epic fail.

apartheid South Africa != America, never was nor will be.

Ahh, trained in geography, are you.

Well, so much for “all societies in the world” generalizations, I guess.

I think you know that I meant to except both in SA during apartheid and economically today, tho socially in SA yes being black is way easier.

LOL, how would we know to except SA in the following?

So “in every society” was just so much shit, then? Fuck off back to your trollhole, you *obvious *motherfucker.

I would, but someone beat me to it.

Like fuck, it is. Gods in Hali, you’re a tedious ignorant waste of jism, aren’t you?

Heh. Trolling Troll is absolutely . . . Epic!

In addition to the already-mentioned South African situation, there’s also the counter-examples of non-Russian republics of the USSR, India under the British Raj, or the Balkans under Ottoman rule to readily choose from. One more - the slave plantations of the antebellum American South.

What was your point again?

Those were imposed from outside.

I also meant non colonial democracies

America is not either. Get over it; there will never be pure social equality and equality of outcome. Oh well

You’re not really here for the hunting, now, are you?

No one wants “pure social equality and equality of outcome.” But not being harassed for walking down the street or going to your car or going to the coffee shop or going to the pool just because of the color of your skin would be nice.

You want it all, but you can’t have it.

There’s a hell of a lot more to it than that. Harassment is horrible but it’s not the worst of it in the long run. If you can’t get a decent education in a public school, if you can’t get hired or a raise or a promotion because of the color of your skin, for a couple of examples, all the other bad things go on for a lot longer.

Consider if this isn’t true: the world we live in equally distributes talent, but it doesn’t equally distribute opportunity. That’s what needs to be evened out more than anything else.

Something else for our new Epic friend: human beings do tend to be tribal, to have us and them orientations, but they don’t have to. Human beings are capable of better things. We can aspire to better things, or we can just write off the whole thing as a loss - a loss for whatever “them” applies to you. It’s clear which choice you have made. But it’s not too late for you, you can let go of your fear and hatred, and you too can be a better person. As my father used to say, don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it.

America wasn’t a colony? You should tell the Founding Fathers…

Faith No More reference?

Yes, exactly. Sorry if it wasn’t clear originally.

Roll up, roll up, come see the much-ballyhooed Slack IQ, hard at work, Ladeeezungennulmen!!
