You could have written the article without defining Ms. Lords past. But you did, and I can understand as many may not know about her past. I have a problem where you tried to take the high and mighty road. Well, it didn’t quite work did it. Trying to prove that you’re above the other scum gossip columnists, you sink right to the level you all belong. Her sordid beginnings are the sort of carrion you and all the other vultures make your living off. Admit it and get over yourself.
I’m not sure I understand you correctly, but if I do, I disagree. In this case, the past she refers to is part of the story that Lords is trying to tell.
What Smith is saying is that she does not gratuitously throw in the info (no idea if this is true or not). I don’t see any problem.
I usually skip the column, but I saw the picture of Traci and wanted to know what she was up to since First Wave. I was put off by her holier-than-the-next gossip columnist attitude. They’re all parasites, living off the (sometimes dubious) skills of their gossip targets.
