lobstermonster, stick to flipping off little kids

I sat down to read it a bit ago. I’m bored at work, actually have time to waste. I think it started off having a point. Someone was mad at someone else because they gave another person crap about OCD. Now, 7 pages later, I’m just confused.

Clearly you have ADD.

Got any adderall?

God, you guys are so over medicated. And over diagnosed. And overactive! Here, take the damn Ritalin. Now go do your dishes.

I multiply.

Sure. I self diagnosed a month ago and wrote myself a prescription. Just send me a cashier’s check for $599.99 and I’ll send it right out.

Shit, I can go to a college dorm and buy it for $7/pill, price slightly inflated during finals.

What’s not to understand. You just take the last poster and insult him/her.

“Him/her”? Oh, so now we’re starting in with the trannie bashing? Not cool.

Define “we”

Define “best”

Define “friend”

And then maybe we’ll talk. maybe…

You could even call it therapy, couldn’t you.

Hitler is so stupid.

Jeeze, I was just thinking DocCathode would benefit from some Aversion Therapy, like somebody hitting him across the nose when he took longer than thirty seconds to wash a plate, but that cold water thing is sick. I mean, not even Dawn works well enough in cold water to punish someone who isn’t done quickly. You really need to use hot water, especially for the rinse.

This, of course, would be in addition to proper medical and psychological treatment, like Alpha-Bits are part of a well-balanced breakfast when you eat them along with with a full, well-balanced breakfast.

eleanor, you’ve grown so charmingly pretend-bitchy!

You know who else thought that?

::raises hand::

all mental “illnesses” can be solved with vitamins and exercise. and auditing.

eh. Somethings just rub me the wrong way. (insert dirty joke here)

If someone will pay me a reasonable wage, I’ll wash the dude’s damn dishes. And soak them in bleach, set them on fire, whatever it takes to make him believe they’re clean. Then this can be over. I’m getting confused again.

I’m just piping up in here to say thank you, QtM. I’ve had experience with far too many physicians / general practicioners who have very little training and experience with mental health who still feel it is in their purview to prescribe whatever drug the pharmaceutical companies are advertising this week. It seems so rare to find a doc who’ll stick to what he or she knows well that I actually came into this thread expecting to see you being the expert. To see a physician admitting he doesn’t know something medical impresses me greatly.
