I’ve found this as a guide to measuring one’s waist:
Waist. Measure around your natural waist. The waist is located at the same level as your belly button.
My problem is my belly button is lower than that- about as low as the fullest part of my hips. It is still on the center line and all that, but it is always below my pants or skirt.
Am I abnormal? Is everyone else’s belly button at waist-level?
I’ve always thought chicks (sorry, WOMEN’s) BBs were much lower than mens.
I can’t imagine wearing pants higher than mine. This is apparently the norm for females (?)
FTR, mine is higher than what I consider my ‘waist’.
Here’s a hijack.
Why do women wear their pants like old men with their real waist being six inches below the beltline of their pants?
I think it may be that some women have really high waists/short torsos.
When I wear a skirt or pants and it just “rests” at my waist, I just go with it. I don’t need to wear a belt because my hips are larger than my waist. Yet when I tuck in a shirt there are five inches between my pants and my bra- a very small distance.
