Where can I find a good version of lode runner for windows? Google is letting me down there are a bunch of not good versions of lode runner out there.

I’m not accusing the OP of asking for these sites; however, in trying to be helpful, posters occasionally post links to such sites, and that’s what we’re trying to avoid.
That said, if I recall correctly, there are legitimate, legal Lode Runner-like games out there to which posters can link. They just gotta be found.
You might try www.downloads.com. They are a reputable site AFAIK.
For Windows? Are emulators OK?
I recommend Dosbox. Can’t tell you where to get the game itself, though it should be easy enough to find.
If you like Lode Runner, don’t shy away from Lode Runner 2. It was written for Windows95, and runs fine on my XP system.
It’s 3D, so the controls take some getting used to. I remapped them 3 times before I found a setup that I could work with. It is, in my opinion, a good update of the old 2D game.
