Logitech M505 Mouse Can't Click and Double Clicking?

I purchased the logitech m305 mouse many years ago and loved it b/c its a wireless mouse. However the mouse was pretty small for me… its a laptop mouse. I used it for less than 1 year and bought the same mouse again. It looked really good as its greyish and design of it is nice. As usual after some time mouse had lot of problems with the clicking… mostly its the you can’t left click on majority of the left side of the mouse… u have to click like near certain areas of the mouse… does that make sense?
Anyways i went and bought a logitech m505 mouse that i been using for a bit over 1 year or so. Main difference with this mouse is the size of it is much bigger and design looks great… its greyish. I think the m505 is the perfect size mouse of all mouse i ever used. However… it started having the same issue with the clicking. Many times i can’t click on stuff unless i click on one area of the mouse towards the bottom of the mouse. And many double clicks.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a wireless mouse similar to the logitech m505 in terms of the mouse size and appearance? This mouse i bought cost around 40-50 dollars. Right now i dont think i can even find this mouse anymore online. And if so its at least 60 plus.
Is there a way to fix this mouse? I have to say that i been using this mouse very aggressively and by that i mean i probably clicked on it more than 3x the average user so there has to be wear and tear.

Does anyone have opinion of the m310? Only cost under 20 dollars and i think its a full size mouse?

Since this is looking for opinions, let’s put it in the opinion forum.

Moving thread from General Questions to In My Humble Opinion.

You are wearing the mouse buttons out. They can’t be easily fixed.

I got a Logitech M510 from walmart for about 25 bucks or so. Works fine for me. YMMV (your mousing may vary).

Yes heard about the m510. Is it the mouse really big though? I read its full big mouse. thing is i want a mouse with the same or similar size as the m505. I think its the perfect size wireless mouse.

There’s little copper spring switches under the mouse buttons that can get deformed over time. It’s possible to disassemble the mouse and reshape the springs but it’s a big pain in the ass and rarely worth the hassle. I did so several times with my MX Revolution before I gave up on it – each fix worked for less time, probably because the metal itself was just stressed and giving out earlier. Plus there’s other tiny pieces in there and I’d always lose one in the carpeting no matter how careful I was and waste another 45 minutes trying to locate it.

No. I have learned that none of your posts ever make sense.

Get the m510 and if it’s too big, return it.

I have an Mi, it was the cheapest on the self. It’s worked perfectly for about 5 years. I replaced my computer, and had to get a new USB mouse, got a Onn, also cheapest on shelf. I don’t like it, the scroll wheel is too slippery, and is too had to turn without depressing to activate. The Mi had a rubberized scroll wheel, that provided enough finger purchase that it could be turned without depressing it completely. So I bought a USB > PS-2 adapter and went back to my old Mi, and now I’m happy again.
