So over the last week or so, a bunch of the bands slated for this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago’s Grant Park have begun trickling out… Rumored bands include:

Gogol Bordello
Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings
John Butler Trio
Bloc Party
Dierks Bentley
Flogging Molly

But the most interesting rumors are for this year’s headliners…

Jim DeRogatis is reporting in his Sun-Times blog that **Wilco ** and **Rage Against the Machine ** are rumored to be headliners.

These are in addition to two headliners that Greg Kot of the Chicago Tribune reported last week - **Nine Inch Nails ** and Radiohead, w/ Radiohead being the Sunday night centerpiece headliner.

I’m not a NIN fan, but the other three headliners definitely excite me. A lot of people think that Beastie Boys or Foo Fighters might also be added as a headliner. This is shaping up to be a great year for Lolla.

Damn I wish the show still toured!!

This is going to be an expensive summer if it’s NIN, Rage, and Radiohead. Or even two of the three.

I’ve already seen all three in the last few years so if it’s only one, I probably won’t splurge on two festivals in one summer; the other being All Points West.

I’ve seen Wilco live before and they just didn’t do it for me. Jeff Tweedy looked pretty medicated and out of it. It was disappointing.

I wonder if you actually saw Tweedy when he was medicated and out of it - before he went into rehab for addiction to painkillers.

I’m a pretty big Wilco fan and one of the big reasons why is the incredible live shows they put on. Tweedy’s at the top of his game these days.

Yeah, I saw them last fall in KC and it was a fabulous show - if you saw WILCO before Tweedy went to rehab I would highly recommend giving them another shot.
