Lolo: Let Me Guess...athiest?

So you KNOW their [sp] isn’t a God? My esteem goes up for you immensely now that I know you can prove negatives. I wish I could do that :frowning:

Just look at the way Ikujinashi’s amazingly coherent and well-written and reasoned ARGUMENT was treated IN THAT SAME THREAD and then then contrast his style with your style and then try and take a guess as to why one was favored over the other.

so, in this context, not not believing in a god is part of your personal belief system anyway. and, therein you are also rejecting other’s beliefs and, defining religion as a shared belief system, their religion. now, hypocracy never helps a point, so you should try examining yourself before fronting your ideas.

remember, the burden of proof is always on the side of the one outside the status quo, so issuants must have that much better an argument.

ps, how old are you, anyway? i’m not trying to pass judgement yet, but you make that quite difficult.

I just thought people in this thread may like to know that in this thread, Lolo has admitted to trolling.

…And he’s OUTTA HERE!

[Muppet News Flash Update]
This just in from the thread linked to previously:
Lolo
[sup]BANNED[/sup]

The lovely administrator Lynn Bodoni had this to say on the subject:

[/Muppet News Flash Update]

Gaudere, nice aliteraton:

you’re bucking for a banning, bub.

Lolo might have done much better if he looked up the works of people who takes the stance of anti-religion seriously, like Marilyn Manson. If Marilyn sings as well as he writes, there would be probably a lot more new converts under his spell.

Don’t have much to say, but I do think I am going to start calling all the religious people I know “cult member” rather than using their names. It’ll be fun.

The thing is, technically, and I say this as a Christian…
Isn’t Christianity basically a really big Messianic cult of Judaism? Or would sect be a better word for it?

I am impressed now.

Moderator math. Gotta love it.

Stanely could also polish the hell out of brass doors.

Lolo would get spittle all over it.

Nitpick: Sir Joseph Porter could polish the hell out of handles on the big brass doors, not Stanley (although I suspect they went to the same military academy!)

But other than that quibble, point very well taken!

Fenris

I’ll see your quibble and raise you another: according to Sir Joseph, that would be “none at all,” then?

G&S is so much more fun than trolls, though…

Once upon a time, yes. But it’s evolved enough that I think you can pretty easily argue that it no longer falls under the umbrella of Judaism.

Lolo banned?

People really DO win at the SDMB!

jarbaby

As a Christian, I think I will feel somewhat cheated if this turns out to be the case.

Hey! Who is going to start the plaintive “Why was LOLO banned” thread?

Come on. Some one has to do it.

Aw. Come on.

[sub]Stop throwing things at me. Someone had to say it![/sub]

yosimitebabe, you’ve got to keep up, better. (From 11/08, 05:17 P M)

His name was Lolo!
He was a trollboy!
But he didn’t have no style,
He’d just raise the Christians’ bile!

He’d rag on Jesus!
Call him a cultist!
But while he’d insult the big guy,
The mods would keep a watchful eye!
'Til Lynn couldn’t let it pass!
She up and busted his ass!
Now he’s banned and gone forever -
He’ll never post! a!gain!
