Londopers!

Might have to give it a miss I’m afraid – what with being back at work for the first time in ages tomorrow I’m suddenly finding about a thousand jobs I need to do in advance. I’ll know for sure nearer 7.

Can’t make it tonight, I’m afraid. I’ve got to go to A Work Social Event.

This translates to “mandatory tedium”

…or the short lecherous Irishman with a dishevelled carnation and pink eyes…

Well, I believe he’s probably got one pink eye but I really don’t want to see it. Ever.

As for the rest: Get a grip, yer miserable sods (kabbes, you’re exempted) !!

Greetings from an alcohol fueled London!!

notmuch to add to the festivities except the fact that London rocks.
Saturday night was brilliant. It wasw great to meet so many of you all. I can now place a face to jr8 (and his beautiful wife), kabbes, Mattk, francesca and her manly husband  (I’m applying for the Open University Degree, I swear!!!) and the lovable fierra, and the rather quite knowledgeable kferr.

And in case I’m forgetting anyone,I goty a little song to sing.
Steve Wright (steve wright!!)
Saved my life (saved my life!!)
And if Steve Wright saved your life,
Or got you back with your ex-wife
sing Steve Wright!!
Note to self:eat large meal before going drinking with L_C in future. My mask of Sobriety is slipping.

Oh dear Lord, Twisty’s heading off the curb - I can see it coming now.

Well that was a nice evening and it was a great pleasure to again have the chance of spending a few hours solving the world’s problems with John over the occasional half. He wasn’t too familiar with downtown London so we took a stroll around a few of the sights while also taking the opportunity of popping in to relieve the odd host of a little of the sauce. All very civilised and most enjoyable on a balmy evening.

He also impressed at least one barmaid (inevitably Australian) and even caught the right train home. I also think he must have been practicing that tricky curb stepping manoeuvre as his road-side performance was impeccable – this time.

Cheers, John. Look forward to the next drinkies!

Lime chutney. It’s the onlly way to deal with things like this. Lots and lots of deeeelicious lime chutney.

It concerns me how little of this I remember.

You’re an evil, evil man.

And… manly husband? Where was I at this point? Matt, I share your sentiments.
